Personally I love getting flowers. Flowers in all forms can be a great gift. Beautiful formal roses or hand picked wild flowers can be great.
- A great time to send a bouquet is when someone has just moved to a new home, is sick, has accomplished something new, birthdays, a new love or just a thank you.
- You don’t always have to send a bouquet. A flowering plant a planting basket, herb basket or terrarium are great options.
- As a gift to the hostess arrange for a bouquet to be delivered the morning before a dinner party. It will reduce the stress for the hostess instead of arriving with them.
- Always enclose a handwritten note.
- If you want to get really creative look up the meaning of certain flowers and write it in your note.
- Men enjoy flowers too!
- Avoid plastic flowers. There are silk, beaded, glass or porcelain flowers which are more acceptable.
- Flowers are the perfect “I’m sorry” gift.
