Flamingos are odd looking birds with very skin legs and long necks. They have a boat shaped beak that gives them an odd habit of eating with their head upside down. They live in muddy lagoons or lakes and eat from the water. When they are hungry they but their beak in the water upside down and sucks water into its bill catching shrimp and water creators. The mouth has a filter that allows it to save the food and spit out the water. The flamingo is pick because of all the shrimp it eats.
