How to Save Money on Valentines Day

Posted on 17 February 2009 by admin

romantic dinnerThe classic Valentines Day of roses, champagne, chocolates and jewelry can get boring. This years economy is not helping people to be able to buy these fine items. Here are some great ways to save money and have a great night of love and lust.

  1. Stay in bed all day. It can be an amazingly intimate and fun day.
  2. Be thankful your in love. Be selfless with each other. Just appreciate the person you love for a day and tell them how much you enjoy each others company.
  3. Rent an old comedy from the 1920s or 1930s. Something fun like a Thin Man movie. Old movies are always romantic and fun.
  4. Play with each and laugh a lot. Smiling and laughing is great for your health.
  5. Champagne can be expensive but buying Cava (sparkling wine from Spain) or Prosecco (sparkling wine from Italy). These are about 1/3 the price of normal champagne.
