When dieting one of the worst things can be avoiding sweets. Here are 10 healthy deserts that wont break your diet and can allow you to indulge a little.
- Pineapple with shredded coconut. Put some sliced pineapple on a plate and sprinkle the shavings onto the slices.
- Fruit and yogurt. Take some low fat yogurt and and add some yummy fruit in.
- Chocolate pudding- Make it at home with low fat or fat free milk.
- Nut and Fruit bowls- combine some good fruit with some nuts, you can even try some sweetened ones to add a little more taste.
- Dessert pizza- Make a pizza crust out of wheat flour, sesame seeds of flax. Use fruit as the toppings.
- Make Ice Cream sandwiches with graham crackers and non-fat ice cream.
- Grapefruit with honey on top. Take a few slices of grapefruit and drizzle them with honey for a sweet and sour desert.
- Creamed Bananas- Cream bananas with a mixer or spatula and add some fruit you life. Add a little lemon juice and whipped cream.
- Meringues- A great low calorie, fat free treat that taste great.
- Oatmeal Crisp Snacks- Ok so you actually have to make this one- 2 cups of oatmeal, 1/2 cup of brown sugar, 1/2 cup of vegetable oil and 1/2 teaspoon on vanilla. Mix the ingredients and then spread on a baking sheet and sprinkle on some cinnamon. Preheat the oven to 325 and then cook until the batter crisps.
