Here are some basic ways to jump start your weigh loss goals.
- Clean out your fridge. Take all the junk food and high fat foods out and throw them away. Replace whole fat things like mayo with lower calorie options.
- Start buying everything in the “fat free” option. This may not taste as good at first but you will get use to it and it will make a big difference.
- Fruit is your friend. Fruit is a great snack.
- Park further away. The extra walking from the end of the parking lot to the mall will add up and make a difference.
- Skip the Elevator. Walking up and down the stairs can make a big difference in your weight.
- Eat because you need food not because of emotions.
- Avoid solid fats. Solid fats are the worst for your bodies, they get stuck in your arteries and make you look plump.

- Get up and work out. Try to walk or run for an hour a day. Talk on the phone, watch tv, or walk with a friend and the time will fly by.
- Avoid soda. Soda has about 110 calories. This can really add up, water is calorie free.
