Most peoples hair grows 4-8 inches a year and expensive extensions may feel like the only option. By following this tips you will be able to grow your hair a little faster.

Your hair is made out of mostly protein, so adding more protein to your diet will help it to grow (too little protein cause it to break or slow down). Try to eat more chicken, fish and nuts to aide in hair growth.

B-complex vitamins, fatty acids and biotin are also great. Omega 3 & 6 fatty acids are very important for your hairs roots to stay healthy. Biotin and B vitamins have been shown to help increase hair growth.

Aerobic exercise is great for overall healthy but it also cause the blood to circulate more effectively in the roots and scalp which helps stimulate growth.

Wash your hair with a enriched shampoo. Vitamin shampoo has vitamins and minerals that are essential for hair growth. They help make your hair look healthy and stop breakage.

Trichogen, a follicle stimulator is made up of a combination of extracts. It is designed to help stimulate hair growth when used consistently. It is found in products designed to re-grow hair.

Be nice to your hair, try to avoid dying or bleaching your hair, heat styling and pulling your hair. It can increase hair loss and damage your hair. Be gentle with your hair.

Here are some great tips to make cleaning the tub a breeze.

Take some Arm & Hammer and sprinkle it around the tub, especially around the stained areas. Add some water and scrub with a scrubber or a sponge. Rinse well.

Cascade and hot water are also a great cleaner. Fill you bathtub to the point where the soiled or stained areas are. Add a few tablespoons of cascade (2-4). Let is sit for about 10-20 minutes then drain the water. Scrub and rinse.

Fill the tub with hot water and apply dawn dish soap to the water. Let it sit overnight then drain. Scrub and rinse the tub.

Fill the tub with 4 cups of vinegar and hot water. Let it soak overnight and then in the morning drain and scrub well then rinse.

Use Easy-Off Oven Cleaner to the stained areas. Allow the cleaner to sit for 30 minutes and then scrub and rinse.

Fill the tub with hot water and put shaving cream into the water. Scrub and then rinse. You can use shaving cream on the doors as well, and then rinse clean. One easy way to clean the tub is to allow your kids to play with shaving cream while they are taking a bath.

It doesn’t matter if you got the tan in Cabo or the tanning salon you want it to last!

Things you will need- Lotion with olive oil or cocoa butter, tan-extender lotion, sunscreen (spf 15 or higher) and moisturizing self tanner.

Start applying self tanner. You can use the daily moisturizing variety of sunless-tanner to extend the life of your tanner. Put it on before bed every night to make sure no one will smell the self-tanner on your skin.

Apply a tan-extending lotion. You can find these at beauty supply stores or from a company like Mary Kay. These are formulated to extend the life of your tan.

Lotions with cocoa butter or olive oil help keep your skin hydrated. Hydration is the key to keeping your tan.
Keep your tan but maintaining it in the sun. Put on a light SPF and lay in the sun for a few minutes each day. A little goes a long way!

Purchase a tanning package at a tanning salon. You can buy a set of tans or a week or month membership. Wear lotion and spend 10-15 minutes in the booth and your tan will last all year! You can also try mystic tan for a UV free tan.

Make sure you always wear SPF int he sun and follow any directions on the self-tanner bottle.

Your SSN is a very important number in America. It is connect to our bank account, financial information, credit score, school, health care and much more. With identity theft on the rise it is important that we portect these numbers.

Do not give out your SSN until you are confident that the company is trust worth or it is state law. Only a few places can demand your SSN, if a company wants your number ask why.

Call Equifax, Transunion and Experian and ask for fruad alerts. It is a free service they all offer.

When you sign up for a new product ask them to take you off their marketing list. When you sign up for things like credit cards they creat a market list with your information, they then sell this list to other companies to send you credit card offers. These offers can be stolen and used by an identity theft.

A program like LIFELOCK is a great awy to protect your SSN. It cost about 10 dollars a month but can really protect you. You can probably do a lot of this stuff yourself but it fells great to have them take care of you so you do not have to worry. They also have great tools they utilize for you.

When working online you need to ensure you have a prevention strategy to protect yourself from internet miners, who steal information for profit (legally and illegally). It may seem tedious but it can protect you from being a victim.

The diaper bag and the baby are two items that should never go anywhere apart. Here is how to make a baby diaper bag that has all the things you will need.

Depending on the length of your excursion you will need to pack 5-10 diapers and 20 baby wipes (or a travel size container). You should probably back some diaper cream as well. For more information on Diaper Changes try this great website - The Essential Infant Resource for Moms

A changing pad or towel is great for changing in public bathrooms that are not as clean as you may prefer.

Burp Clothes are essential for keeping you and baby happy and tidy.

One or two baby bottles with breast milk or formula (in a cool compartment if possible), two jars of baby food, spoon, and bib.

Crackers and a sippy cups or juice or water are great for older children and can help to stop tantrums. Look at the grocery store for toddler snacks that are packaged, these are great for the mom on the go.

Bring at least one change of clothes including socks and an extra jacket.

A few of your child’s favorite toys, a book or two and a pacifier in case of emergency.

You can add other items that you think will help keep your child comfortable like a favorite blanket or teething rings. Remember to pack the bag seasonally. If it is sunny out a hat will probably be necessary, in the winter a rain coat may be needed. For more information about caring for your baby visit this great site. The Essential Infant Resource for Moms. Emergency survival kits contain the necessary things to keep you and your family alive after a natural disaster, before help arrives.

Take a large duffel bag, storage container or trunk and designate it as the emergency survival kit. Make sure the container is large enough for all the supplies you will need to pack.

Purchase some canned goods - soup, peanut butter, beans, vegetables and dry goods -crackers, granola bars, etc. Make sure you buy enough food for your family for at least 3 days.

Now add enough water for 3 days. A 2 litter for each person should be enough. Add extra water for hygiene/cleaning.

Now add in a first aid kit. You can probably purchase one already made but make sure it has - bandages, burn cream, pain relievers, sting treatment, rubbing alcohol and hydrogen peroxide. Add a week of any medications you may need as well as a nebulizer if needed.

Put a portable radio into the kit. Make sure you have batteries to run it if necessary, you won’t be able to rely on electricity.

Buy flashlights, extra batteries, emergency candles and stay-dry matches.

Purchase a camping stove and fuel. Keep 3 cans of fuel in the bag as well.

If you have small children add some games and toys to keep them occupied. Lightweight and age appropriate! Add some decks of cards for the adults.

Pack a set of utensils, some tools and a few pocketknives.

Buy a whistle. It will help rescuers find you and help your family find you.

Put the kit in a safe places in your house and make sure everyone in the family knows where it is.

At some point in your life you probably have discovered the wonders of caffeine. It may have been after you had a baby or in college when you need to wake up early after staying up too too late. After a few days you start to feel dependent on the caffeine, needing it to feel alert and awake. You have become addicted, so how do you break the addiction.

Recognize you have a problem. You have begun to rely on caffeine for energy. You may feel headaches, dizziness, mood swings and even hypertension.

Find motivation and keep it. Caffeine is not good for your well being it can cause fetal damage, tremors and loss of motor control. You need to make this decision for yourself or it will never work.

Look for some healthy beverages. Water is the healthiest beverage but if you are looking for something with some taste you can try juice, soda without caffeine, decaf coffee or teas.

Ask your friends and family to support you and help you. Ask them not to offer you your favorite beverages, temptation is hard. If they know you are trying they will most likely call you out if they catch which can be the embarrassment you need to stop.

Create a time line for quitting. You can slowly drink less and less caffeine or go cold-turkey. If you were going to a coffee shop daily save those 3-5 dollars in a piggy bank and after a month buy yourself something nice, you may have close to $150!

Prepare yourself for withdrawals. You may have difficulty concentrating, headaches, be restless, irritable, have chills and muscle stiffness. You will probably begin to experience these symptoms 24-48 hours after your last sip of caffeine and they can last up to a week.

If you don’t succeed the first time, keep trying. Eventually you will be able to stop. If you make it 2-3 days and then break down you probably wont experience the withdrawal symptoms again (if you only drank caffeine for one day). So it can ease your transition.

Don’t criticize others for drinking caffeine. If people are only enjoying 1 cup of caffeinated beverages per day they probably are not addicted. You need over 100mg a day to be addicted.

One of the scariest thing for parents is the empty nest. To many parents, especially stay at home moms it is a devastating thing in life. So how do you deal with an empty nest.

First, its okay to sit down and cry. You are human and emotion is okay and you should express this sadness. You spent a major portion of your life raising your child. But try to keep your child from seeing too much of this emotion. A few tears are okay but you don’t want them to feel guilt about leaving home, chances are they are already feeling scared and trepidations.

Now time will start to pass and you will notice little things like an empty chair at the dinner table or in front of the TV. When these little moments hit you remember that your child is maturing into an adult and that you should be proud of them, after all this is what you raised them to do. Remind yourself that you raised your child to be an ethical, moral and responsible adult.

Stay busy! When you have a lot to do you wont miss your child as much. Spend more time with friends and family. Plan dinner parties or go out for drinks with friends. Getting a part time job or starting new home projects is a great way to keep busy. Now you can probably start on all those passions you put aside to raise your child.

Now when your child comes to visit enjoy the time. The hard part is letting them leave again. As time goes on it will be easier to see them come and go. Don’t mention that you are sad when they leave cause again you don’t want them to feel any guilt for growing up. When they feel good about coming home they will probably come home more often and enjoy having you take care of them some (laundry time!).

Here are some simple tips to going green without too much effort..

Change out all of your current light bulbs for compact florescent bulbs. They are just as bright and use a fraction of the electricity.

Unplug appliances when you are not using them. Certain things still use electricity when you are not using them like the TV, computer, phone charger, etc. Use a surge protector and plug all your things into one outlet so you can easily unplug them when you are not useing them.

Turn old electronics in to be recycled. Old computers, cell phones, tvs and stereos can be recycled. You may even get money for recycling them.

Buy your produce from local stores and produce stands. You will save fuel and reduce pollution by buying produce that has not been shipped thousands of miles.

Turn the water off! When you are not using water make sure it is off. Also make sure your washing machine and dish washer are full when you use them. It is wasteful to wash just a few dishes at a time.

Buy energy star appliances. When it is time to replace a tv, or major appliance look for the label and you can save money on electricity!
